On Wednesday, December 11, 2019, REF returned to Tashua Knolls for yet another fabulous holiday party. In spite of the blanket of snow, we got a good turnout,  a mix of members in all stages of retirement.  We were, as usual, loud and boisterous and so glad to be there with each other.

As always at Tashua, the food was delicious, and there was plenty of it. There was also lots of wonderful holiday music:  KEYBOARD with VOCALS contributed by MILT JACOBY, AND we had some guest performers, the RIPCHORDS, a women's harmony quartet, drawn from the women's harmony chorus, HARMONY ON THE SOUND ( The Ripchords serenaded us  in 4-part harmony, and every tune was prefaced with a joke.

Many thanks to Amy and Dick Dezenzo, Cissy Hudzik,  Lois Neville, Nancy Tarzanin and Jan Shearer for putting it all together. Guests lingered right up to the end and didn’t seem to want to leave.   It was so nice to see everyone and especially nice that we had some members whom we haven’t seen for a while.    If you couldn't make it, the photos tell the story, and we hope you will come next year.

I would very much like to get in touch with Mel Senator. I was a young Yale MAT graduate when I was hired, together with my good friend Liz Willis.
