Our monthly drop-in breakfasts are usually held on the first Friday of the month. Sometimes, due to holidays, they are scheduled for the second Friday. Drop-in breakfasts at the Circle Diner are: Jul. 5, Aug 2, Sept 12 at Tashua Knolls, Oct. 4, Nov. 1. Breakfasts are always subject to weather conditions. Members use their judgment regarding whether or not they choose to brave the elements to come out for a cozy breakfast and some friendly conversation. Click here: Breakfast Photos for more information and some photos.   We do not have a breakfast in December because we hold the Annual Holiday Party in that month.

FEA/REF Picnic- Oct.3,2019

Don't miss the FEA/REF picnic Thursday, Oct. 3,2019. 3 to 7 at the Jackie Durrell Pavillion. FREE, lots of fun and a chance to relax and visit with friends.

Hi REF Friends,
An invitation from Bob Smoler, FEA President:

Dear Retired Educators,

I hope your summer has gone well and all of your members are enjoying their respective retirements.  All current teachers owe a debt of gratitude to those that have gone before us for laying the groundwork for the wonderful school district in which we all teach. To that end, I would like to invite all of your members to attend the FEA annual picnic which is taking place at the Penfield (Jackie Durrell) Pavillion from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 3,2019.  We'll once again be barbecuing outside (weather permitting) and it should be a great time.

All the best,

Bob Smoler

FEA President

So very sad to hear that Jane died. She graced my classroom in assisting a deaf student. She was always so enthusiastically engaged and helpful.
