Our Own Pat McDonnell, a Winner!

The Redcoats Are Coming- Jeanne Harrison and Pat McDonnell paint a fire hydrant on the Post Road near the oldf Exide battery plant in Fairfield on Wednesday (10/9). The two have been painting some hydrants as British Redcoats along the Memorial parade route for Fairfield's 375th anniversary. At right is a finished hydrant in front of the Fairfield Public Library. (photo courtesy of Mark Conrad)

Pat, I just spotted one at the boat basin! They are all beautiful as well.
They add so much creativity to the whole town.

Pat and Jeanne: Rarely does a day go by when I do not pass one of your painted hydrants and enjoy their significance and importance to all of us.
Thank you.

Thank you for the comments. I will let Jeanne know. We are still painting- just finished three by the boat basin, off Jennings Road and by Tomlinson. pat
